Each person's hand is unique and has a defining print, so when we touch things we leave an impression. What type of impression will you leave today?

Turns out my email request to you all for prayers for Rich was a gift to the person who has been keeping us up to date and asking us and reminding us to pray for Rich.
ReplyDeleteHe sent a simple Thank you. I don't know if I would have thought to send this request had it not been for the timing of update I received as we were beginning this journey together. I am grateful.
And in keeping with "no gift is too small" I made lunch for John to take to his EMT class today. He appreciated the extra few minutes in the morning.
Today I listened for several hours as an old friend related difficulties at work, economic challenges in maintaining her home and life style, facing health issues as she ages, etc. We wound up having lunch and taking a stroll through Doylestown in the sun of midday. In the evening I received a call from a professional friend whose job it is to make decisions that are in the best interests of her clients. She needed to vent. Thanks to Stephen Ministry training, I was able to listen, just listen - and that's what they both wanted.
